NY football soap opera (As the World Turnpikes)

Heyyy hey all y'all. Just wanted to hit everybody up from class and provide some food for thought. The NY football Giants are sitting atop the ferocious NFC East with a perfect 3-0 record, while the Jets are suddenly riding high off a big win Sunday versus the Cards.

Though this is not news, this bit of karma soaked gossip may be. Roger Goodell announced today that the Super Bowl halftime entertainment will be provided by the raspy Asbury Parkian, Bruce Springstein. Couple that with the fact that the big game is in Tampa this year, the unofficial NYC retirement village, and I think we have all the fixins for an all New (Jersey) York Super Bowl this year.

Exciting stuff boys and girls.

The Giants are going to have to hope for a another miracle year in the postseason, if the Browns debacle on Monday night was any indication...

The Jets are looking very good, though. The AFC East is the division to watch. All 4 teams have legitimate shots of reaching 10 wins, so that should be very interesting towards the end of the year.

So, how bout them Rays, eh? :)
